You need to : find an up-to-date codec pack though ;) Best way to grab a frame from a video that I've found using free, built-in tools would be to take it into Windows Movie Maker (Windows XP and up). Import the video, find the place, then there's a "Snapshot" button under the preview window. ...Some video cards don't like it when you turn off overlays. This might prove easier.
