Think of what a group like that would do to someone who stole information so classified in a time of war. Think: Gestapo. Think: "Make it look like an accident." But for a historian as (supposedly) intelligent as this, it would be child's play to elude capture right? But what about this foe, our Covenant. They know far more then Oni and it would only be a matter of time. Think: "Our conviction is like an arrow in flight. Your life only lasts until it reaches you." In which case I must agree with this guardian, it was nice knowing you, Archaeologist. Here's to hoping you don't suffer when the end comes.
