: Larger than a Banshee, but flying lower than a Phantom? : Easy. Seraph. We've already seen one in Halo 2-- just not in action. I realize it's pointless to argue when we have so little to work with, but doesn't the vague description suggest that the Marine speaking does not recognize the incoming craft? In the "fleet engagement" section of the dialogue sheet, pilots reference Seraphs by name. Also, the "bigger than a banshee" dialogue takes place in the "Vol" section of the sheet, and Vol is where it is widely speculated Master Chief is in the announcement video. It's certainly possible that the line refers only to a Seraph, but isn't it more fun to imagine it's something cooler? :)
