: The flood coming to Earth? That would open a lot of really crazy and : desperate ideas. Could Cortana and/or the Master Chief end up activating : the Ark themselves, on purpose? If the Flood reach Earth, it wouldn't be : long before they nabbed every human still alive, after all. I think the first third of the game will be basic Covenant/human fighting on Earth, and the middle will deal with the Ark. The last bit of the game will be the Flood invading Earth and the Master Chief being sent to kill their leader, Gravemind. This will also open the path for the Chief to rescue Cortana at the end.
