In my opinion, it's one of the most versatile weapons in Halo (second to the M6D, of course)... The PR/M6D combo was my go-to in almost any situation, campaign or multiplayer. In Halo 2, it completely lost its niche -- one of the myriad dual-wieldables that was nerfed for balance, to the point that a single PR is quite useless on its own. And what happened to that classic plasma stun? I recall reading an article that was linked off the HBO homepage recently wherin the author hopes that the PR returns in Halo 3 just "for nostalgia's sake." Is there any hope for Plasma Rifle fanboys?
