I refer to the raised room as the 'glasshouse', but 'Loft battle' is a nice term for the whole shebang. It's a great place as you say; I keep a handy save for it. 27 units of enemy scum to wipe out, and so many delicious ways to do it! Yes, this is the same area. I move as many Needlers as I can get from previous battles so I can torture the enemies. The really nice thing about this area is there are no checkpoints triggered, you can walk all around the glass house spewing destruction as you go. I remember reading a review about Halo where the author stated that several of the maps in the game have repetitive interior areas, while this is true, the author failed to mention or didn't take the time to tackle the fun battles within the interior areas.
