I was once thinking the same thing about MC getting wasted for the sake of humanity...martyrdom is the best way for a soldier to go, honestly. I think the Arbiter will get it too, considering there were some strong crucifixion imagery in H2 when they stripped him of his armor and branded him with the Mark of Shame. Two heroes, setting aside their differences and joining together to stem a monstrous army of Flood, perhaps? Maybe causing the Elites and Humans to fight as one and rally behind their (dead) heroes? That is my two cents...
