I will be fair and : give halo wars due diligence when it comes out, i just shouldn't be : expected to blindly love it b/c an early build 10 years ago was an RTS. You proceed from the false assumption that an argument is required to prove that a game that does not yet exist will not suck. Nobody is expecting anybody to love anything blindly. Some people may do so, and you may perhaps feel pressured to do so because they do, but that is a separate issue. The "Halo used to be an RTS" argument is good for one thing only: refuting the argument that Slipstream "invented" the idea of a Halo RTS and therefore is due some consideration from Microsoft and Ensemble.
