Those claims simply : don't follow any logical progression... and it irks me a little every time : I read it. : Maybe that's what set him off... or at least, that's what would set me off. I brought up this point on IBO over the weekend, but no one would argue with me about it. The "halo used to be an RTS, so its ok" argument is extremely weak. That's like saying "lets make a 'halo my little pony' game b/c you used to be able to ride the blind wolf," or a "Halo super ATV off-road adventure" game b/c halo 2 used to have an ATV, so its ok. I just made up two great titles for mircosoft to produce so that halo can come "full circle" like they said last week on B.net. I'm not saying that Halo Wars will suck, or that I won't play it, its just that the argument to support it is weak. very weak. I will be fair and give halo wars due diligence when it comes out, i just shouldn't be expected to blindly love it b/c an early build 10 years ago was an RTS.
