Alright, it took a bit of doing, but I think this is it... Is he the corporal from the unfortunate Second Squad which first encounters the Flood on Halo, the one who radios in to Captain Keyes just before being killed? Here's the dialogue from the cutscene in question: Corporal: Captain, Sarge... can you hear me? Keyes: What's going on, soldier? Corporal: We've got contact, lots of 'em, but... they're not Covenant! They're-re just tearin' through us! What the -- oh... goooh! Johnson: Corporal, do you copy? Over! Funnily enough, I got this answer from the HBO article "Names Behind the Voices", which in turn got its info from none other than Marty himself.
