Were the X series and Tachyon: The Fringe bad? (I actually bought Tachyon a while ago, but I haven't figured out how to get a serial number to let me install it.)

Also, I guess it's fair that simplified console space games like Rebel Strike and Jedi Starfighter don't count.

Also, at least some have mod communities still active. (Or at least Freespace does, from what I've read.)
