In Response To: Scarab theory (Edwards) : Hi, I just read bungies claim that fans from around the worls would recognize : the design of the "opening" in the trailer... I think it look : exactly like the weapon of a scarab...With those metal flaps opening... In the ending cinematic of halo 2, 343 gs tells the arbiter, Keyes, and Johnson that the rest of the halos are communicating with the ark. Why would they communicate..? To tell each other that something went wrong during the final sequence of a firing, that the flood probably is out there eating planets, of course! Now, with the flood roaming free in space, theres no telling how far they've come, so the best thing to do is just to fire all of the remaining halo's, just in case. Wich is why the ark is needed, as it may have some sort of code that activates all the halo's at the same time, and/or have the ability to dodge whatever deadliness the halo's might release, saving those who might find themselves on the ark at that time. So the prophet of truth is PROBABLY going to live out the rest of his days in paradise, aka the ark, with nothing to disturb him. No ugly humans or competing politicians. Just him and his brutes. Am i making any sense here..?
