In Response To: Theory : The "Arc" is planet Earth (Nokinoya) : I~ve read some places that people thing The Arc is that ship that MC hitches : a ride at the end. But I dont think thats the case. : From what understood of the final cutscene in halo 2, it seems that The ARc : is our planet earth. : I dont know, from a physical point of view, right when the voice says : "The Arc", the camera shows the ship going towards earth. Earth : is the main focus on the screen, so to me it made sense. : Also, from a storyline point of view, it seems more interesting for earth to : be called The Arc. It only adds to the mystery, as though Earth is where : it all started. Actually, the line is "And where, Oracle, is that?" at which point the scene cuts to showing the Forerunner ship appearing over Earth. In my personal opinion, judging by this scene, it seems that the answer to the question of where the Ark is is on Earth, but the exact location is still a mystery.
