In Response To: random question (a lurker from ny) : whats the name of the chinese indian place? Tangra Masala
87-09 Grand Avenue
Noon-10PM, 7 days, cash only The dish to get is "--food- Tangra Masala", so Chicken Tangra Masala, Beef Tangra Masala, Vegetable Tangra Masala, etc. DO NOT go there expecting a big, spacious restaurant. This is a classic example of a 'hole in the wall'. Only a few tables, so be prepared to wait if you're part of a large group, even if you've managed to get a reservation, which they told me they only offer certains days. Yet the food is delicious and spicy and certainly worth it! I'm glad they're a slight drive away from me, or else I'd be ordering from them all the time. Actually, when I went to pick up the order for the LAN, they mentioned that they're about to open a new restaurant, at 39-23 Queens Blvd, that is many times bigger in size. - M |
