In Response To: Re: Reflections on Beaver Creek.....ode to Halo 1 (Minor Threat) Ground textures: These textures are used somehow as general layouts of the land, things like paths in the dirt. These have nothing to do with reflections. There is one present for every map. Cubemap textures: These textures are used to give the illusion of shinyness or reflections. There is one present for any shiny object, an example is the banshee from H1. Each level also has a general cubemap. These general cubemaps were not exact in h1, and I doubt they are in h2. This is the reflection you are seeing. |
