In Response To: The Flood, Lysogenics, And You (Sardaukar [Pants 138]) As far as I understand, you are suggesting that the Forerunners used DNA code to DIRECT a transition from single celled organisms to modern day humans. Such a directed change is the antithesis of evolution. One of the primary tenets of evolution is that it is NOT directed, there is no plan. Therefore it is missleading to use any term that contains evolve or evolution when refering to your directed transition process. But since the Forerunners aren't using evolution to achieve their goal we don't need to worry if 100,000 years is long enough for humans to 're-evolve' :-) | |
