Right at the end of the E3 Halo movie doesn't the injured marine say something like... "Cortana told us one of you was on board... but we didn't believe her" ? Cortana could be an ship AI like Durandal. This would make sense if the ship with the marines is a Colony ship like the Marathon which could be why there are 1000 or so other people (B.O.Bs?) on board. | |
