This differences in speed, its a trade off

The thing that most of you may notice is that the xbox is not a personal computer but solely a video game system capable of games and DVD movies with a 500kilobyte operating system kernal.
Thats it.
While a PC with windows takes up a couple hundred megabytes. This is the difference between the two.
This XBOX win2000 kernal is simply loaded into the ram or some other IC for games to run silky smooth without momentary freezes seen on all of the powerhouse computers i've seen.
Dont get me wrong here, i have loved PC Games since my first computer, the good ol' 386 (25Mhz) and i dont plan to abandon them anytime soon.
The game systems are for gaming, i dont just play games and watch movies, i like an ocassional getting out of the house listening to music in my car kinda thing. Thats why i use mp3's and a burner which wont be in too many consoles anytime soon.

Well i must say that PC's (not macs) will always hold the throne for power Its just sitting there being slowed down by a heavy OS. Try Linux but keep taggin along with MS they are gonna get better with the OS and gaming.
