Well i kindof came up with hyperchondria because it sounded cooler than mitochondria but meh. Remmber also that lack of evidence is not proof against. Im not sure if i remembered to mention it, but my opinion was that they could only configure themselves at birth, so each spore would optomise itself for its atmosphere when it was spawned.
