In Response To: Visual proof of the Forerunners + thoughts (Hikaru-119) This is just a reference to another movie/novel/show with a somewhat similar storyline. You might as well call the Vang from Starhammer proof that they are the Flood. Bungie has a lot of things they referenced to create the world we know as Halo. Aliens had a strong impact in all future sci-fi war stories. The Marines and UNSC ships are inspired after that movie - it's mentioned in the Art of Halo book. Starhammer, Feersum Endjinn, Deepness in the Sky, Reality Dysfunction, Revelation, and the Holy Bible are all other strong pieces of work Bungie referred to in making their story. | |
