I wonder if Bungie just chose seven as an easter-egg to us throughout the universe, or whether seven has a significance they plan to reveal later to blow our minds :P. Would the writer have the story revolve around seven Halos just so it would be another seven refrence? That sounds to me like too important a part of a story to use your favorite number just for kicks.Then again, maybe after Halo2 we'll never hear of the Halos again and it own't matter how many there were.

Anyway, it kinda caught my attention that the seventh ring equals 117649.
