Eep. Well, I suppose I could afford to lose another fifteen pounds or so... (I'm not kidding. That's how much weight I lost over those three weeks. Forgetting to eat and obsessive pacing will do that.) The best way to recreate the experience, at least in a concentrated and organised form, is to go through the bungie.net thread that tracked the ongoing story: http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=34918&postRepeater1-p=1 Be advised that it does extend to SEVENTY-FIVE PAGES of analysis, so this may not be the most time-effective way to do so. :) It is probably the most immersive, though, and it does re-create the revelation sequence of the terminals and show the excitement folks felt. (And showing the heights and depths that people went to work the clues. Muscling Babylonian mythology out of their teachers!) Damn. Still proud of you guys in there and here. You did some mighty fine work together. -- Steve's still pondering how to top that... but not too hard, not yet. New Halo material is coming soon, fodder for more and greater things to come... | |
