Either on Gruntworld or in their methane tents you *wouldn't* actually have to worry about igniting the methane. Why? Well, what's it going to burn with? Grunt atmosphere can't contain oxygen, as methane-breathers it would be the most toxic thing they could breathe. It shows how tough the little buggers are that they don't explode in flames just running around in oxygen atmosphere. The point is, there'd be no oxygen to burn with the methane ( CH4 + 2O2 -> CO2 + 2H2O ) so don't worry about the atmosphere going up. Oh, and they're god damn nasty-looking, aren't they?
