In Response To: Gametype options (Pyroknight) I wonder if Wraiths are available in Halo 2... It would be pretty useful if you could land shots from a vertical angle instead of like a tank shoots-- straight from point A to point B. Imagine CTF on Blood Gulch, its CTF. 2 ppl snipin from on top of their base and 2 shotguns inside their base. launch a ball of raw plasma into the air. in the other room you hear "what the crap! Holy God! get out! don't ya see it! look! zoom out! crap! out out out! ahh! I fell in the dadgum hole! Heck!" and then your screen is flooded with "you killed so and so"s wow.... you could make a movie clip about that. but unfortunately wraiths would be pretty useless in the wrong situation and without a lot of strategy, timing, and luck. couldn't hurt though. you'd have to turn up the speed of the shot to make it worth using. close up its too vulnerable and far away (in Halo 1) the shots are too laggy. The aiming would have to be something like put the reticle on your target area... and the shots trajectory is calculated for you or something. It can't be like you throw a grenade, you'd spend way too much time finding where you have to aim to get a good hit, gives everyone too much time to spread out and get cover. I hope they read these things to maybe get some ideas. I dunno if you'd use it in the story mode though, i highly doubt it. | |
