In Response To: Forgive me (Marty the Elder) : The VGA on Spike TV was the worst travesty that the entertainment industry : has to offer. I was there at that table and I desperately want those hours : of my life back. I will do everything in my power (which isn’t much) to : fight the system that creates crap like that. I’m actually thankful that : Bungie wasn’t mentioned. From this point forward I hope that we will : distance ourselves from anything that smacks of the tawdry, obscene, and : juvenile pile of dung that this show represents. Ya know, when Halo 2 got the award for most anticipated, and they showed the shot of you guys sitting at the table, yours was the first face I recognized. I thought to myself "Marty's gotta be screaming on the inside right about now." Seems I was right. ;) The VGAs were a horrid affair. Not only did Spike TV pay little attention to the gaming, they apparently have never seen an awards show before in their lives. Here's hoping that there won't be a second VGA. -S
