Kaworu Nagisa is a man shrouded in mystery. Not much is known of his past, except that the place he once called home has now been destroyed. It seems that he awoke one morning to find that his peaceful island on the surface of the ancient structure had become a battleground. For years he had lived there, spending his time deciphering the mysteries of the island, and studying the maps contained there. Not long after that battle, the Flood came, and he was forced to leave the halo and take up residence elsewhere.
