In Response To: Re: 343's choice (Jon Latkowcer (Drake)) : I thought I'd mention something that's been bothering me for awhile. 343 : appears to be invincible, as evidenced by him surviving the fusion blast : at the end of the game. Why would all the Sentinels be so ineffective and : easily destroyed when compared to the Monitor? Are they really only there : to control little Floodlings? Could it be that the Monitor was a later : addition to Halo, when the Forerunners left? ok abviously if the sentinals were indestructable then they wouldnt make very good enemies since you wouldnt be able to destroy them... I think reading any more than that into it is looking too hard. no matter how rich, compelling, and thoroughly detailed the Halo story is, it still has to adjust to allow basic gameplay elements.. :P
