Some folks say he killed a bear with his bare hands when he was eight. At least, that's what some folks say. Others say he wrestled 'gators in Louisiana just for fun. That's all just legend now. Womenfolk regarded him as the perfect southern gentlemen. Menfolk thought he was as mean as a rattlesnake. No one dared to flame him. He was a hero in the War of Covenant Aggression. Some say he killed as many as one thousand elites. Yup, one thousand. One man said that he held a base in Blood Gulch all by his lonesome, pistol-whupping any who dared enter. Folks from Texas to 'Bama still sit around the fire each night and tell stories of his heroism.
