... for my long absence, but I plan on returning to the boards shortly (for those who care), mostly now as an observer - just as you are. Matt has done so well in my absence that I didn't feel I needed to really be here ... and have gotten other part of my life in order.

I am now engaged (Jun 9th is the wedding) to a beautiful North Carolinian named Misti. I am also returning to school in a month, hopefully for a Masters/PhD program. I will catch up as soon as possible, but I'm glad to see that much of the discussion has turned positive - as far as oaths are concerned and such ;).

hey - anyone see those new screenshots? ;) ;) if trees are the "holy grail" of 3d gaming, I'd say it's solved - the non-placeholder ones look incredible!! :) :) :)
