Fair enough, I suppose... but since distribution isn't uniform, settling on some acceptable standard (like, say, the issue date) makes it much easier to actually talk about stuff.

(For example, I know that the December issue of Next Generation magazine has a Halo article. Lots of people have already seen it, it's in stores in many places... but not here. I'm happy that the date given was the date on the cover, not "the date it's available in stores"... because I'd have bought last month's issue looking for it.)

Apologies if my original message sounded like I was accusing you or something. I was simply trying to help others avoid buying something that didn't have what they were looking for.
