I think what's happening is that Bungie is trying not to scoop the dead-tree publishing houses. One must realize that dead-tree publishing has a few months of reaction time, compared to Internet publishing, which has a reaction time of as low as a few seconds. Thus, Bungie is waiting until the dead-tree outlets issue the stuff Bungie has released, before doing an Internet release.
