No, he's referring to the fact that Netscape's CSS support is spotty and also rather buggy. It has strange inheritance rules and it tends to forget styles on text in table cells that follows a nested table. This really is worse than no CSS support at all, because it ends up mixing properly-styled text with default-styled text. Also, a browser is supposed to ignore any style attribute it can't deal with. NS on the other hand has an annoying tendency to crash when you feed it certain positioning attributes attached to table cells. Netscape has its advantages, and I know a lot of people like it, but it's a pain in the neck to use while building pages because it's easy to crash, and because it requires so much redundant coding. That's why I design pages using IE, but always check pages in NS before "going live". --Fractalus =PN= | |
