That wouldn't be a goal deeply rooted in Marathon. The goals of Marathon would either be character goals or the goals of the game makers. I find it unlikely that Bungie is about to give us a way to transcend the end of the universe, so we're probably talking the latter. Does this mean that Bungie is going to release a Marathon game that uses the Halo engine -- realizing goals that weren't possible when the original Marathon was created? How cool would that be?
