I think, in order to move on, we have to find at least one glyph that can be agreed on to be solved. My personal belief is that we should focus first on the symbols in the middle of the dials. There is a lot of variety there, and I believe, somewhere in there, is an answer that can be solved definitively. (I've taken to approaching people at work, thrusting a picture of the glyphs under their nose, and saying, "Is there anything here that makes sense to you? Huh?!?") Once we have one or two centers defined, I'm guessing that the puzzles will fall into place a little easier.

Of course, I may be wrong :)
