I am all for a weekend Fan Fest. Mainly because some of us are not 14 year olds that live in LA and need Mommy and Daddy to drive us to something mid-week. Some of us, those with the pecuniary means, are flying across the country to attend E3 and had hoped to catch a fan fest to finally meet others in the community.

Sorry, but I don't see what the connection here is for the mid week push. That sounds like its more for the press - and if so, the press get to see HALO on Thursday anyway. And if its to show the "community" of Bungie to press, nothing says maturity like the 14 year olds with parents - the 3 of them that may show.

Either way, this situation just seems to be rather sucky. For that matter, perhaps the fans would want to all get together on the weekend at a set time and place for a larger outting? I am all for helping to organize a weekend deal.
