I'm still stuck on your older approach...

In Response To: Re: G2 ideas - correction (Luigi)

I keep thinking back to what you did earlier on G1 and G7, finding repeating patterns from sums of numbers on the dial. You suggested that G1 = 41, and G7 = 97, because many of the sums of numbers on the dial were integral multiples of those numbers.

It seems to me that the same may be true of G4=50 (or possibly 50 and 113).

Similar patterns are in G6 = 10 (various combinations of sums of numbers on the dial equal integral multiples of 10, from 10 through 210), and G3 = 33:

6 + 13 + 14 = 33
6 + 13 + 14 + 33 = 66
71 + 22 + 6 = 99
71 + 33 + 22 + 6 = 132
71 + 33 + 22 + 20 + 13 + 6 = 165

I'm not sure what to make of this, if anything. Perhaps any group of 8 randomly-selected numbers will show a similar pattern, but I doubt it. Perhaps we should follow your suggestion above, and eliminate numbers that aren't part of this sort of pattern.

Then again, maybe I should just get back to work...

Nah, I'll try to find similar patterns in G3 and G5.
