The XBLA HUD is the one you can see in my Redux playthrough screenshots that looks like the M2 one, yes. It's based on the superior enhanced HUD from the XBLA port, the only con is it's missing the full Doom esque inventory menu from the OG trilogy & Eternal, with chips appearing as little squares on the ammo metre.
