I appreciate the fact that the guys in the white coats keep catching you and bring you back. Hurray for universal public healthcare!
And now we have a year until the 20th anniversary of the Marathon's Story Page. Sit back and relax, Hamish. (Well, relax as much as the restraints will allow.) Let's see what us fans can dig up to amuse you with.
Unfortunately for us all (ha!) the first emails I sent to Hamish are locked up in a Claris Emailer archive, so I can't share my first unprofound and maniacally worrisome words with Hamish. As I recall they went something like this:
To: Hamish Sinclair
From: Matthew Smith
Subject: Durandal's Secrets REVEALED
OMG I saw yer site and I luvd dit! Yew right so cool things. I think I know the secret of Durandal's feelings for Strauss becuz Strauss is like Jason Jones' dad and Leela is his mother and I've heard that they escaped from the Nazis in Norway. If you take all the letters of the AIs and XOR with Smells Like Teen Spirit then you get the words "Stop. Please stop." What more proof do you NEED???
