: Wideload's game (they only really made one) was pretty funny and clever.
: Personally though, I hate tablets. They make me feel like a virtual
: cripple. Some parts of that game pitch sounded halfway decent, but when I
: got to "the game will do much of the moving for you" I may have
: groaned a bit. This IS a crazy plan.
I stopped reading at exactly that part. Doesn't sound like an actual FPS if I can't control where I go. I like what he's saying about how to use touch for aiming, but I don't know about cutting movement out of it. Then again, back before Halo, I was very skeptical about anyone's ability to make an FPS for a console, so I would like to remain open about this.
The probem with touch for any sort of game is that your finger always has to obscure part of the screen to interact with it. I really cannot understand the enthusiasm for mobile gaming at all.
Still interested to watch this develop, though, and it's cool to hear his perspective on selling Bungie.
