Confusion in Eternal

I completed the level where u destroy Tycho and he acually survives, and he says that Hathor has gone to the future to make it screwed up even more. Then you're in the level "To perchance a dream". At first I thought it was the moon K'lia where the rest of humanity was and Hathor had destroyed humanity and the player (Marcus) was too late. But at the end of it u get a message from... who? Is it Durandal/Thoth? And they say it's time to wake up. So that level is a dream? Like in Infinity? But then u get sent to a level on a Phfor ship and you're with Tycho again. What's going on?
