: There is only one Eternal, what you downloaded year ago was probably the
: version called Mark V, which was always incomplete (such as missing the

: a lot of the maps you knew from Mark V have been replaced in Eternal X,
: but the story is pretty much the same, it's not a sequel or anything.
: The prologue level is just a walk from one end of the map to the other, where
: another terminal will take you out. I imagine if you're having any
: trouble, it's with the platform that you have to lower to get to the upper
: floor where the end terminal is. There's a switch in a blue-and-green room
: that lowers the elevator that you can see out that room's window. But the
: elevator will go back up again of it's own accord if you take too long, so
: hit the switch and run down there. The rest should be obvious.
: And yes, Marcus Jones is the name I gave to the player-character.
: "Marcus" is part of an old joke name "Marcus Victor
: Mjolnir" (which would be abbreviated "Mark V Mjolnir"), but
: I made it his real name instead and changes his last name to
: "Jones", because a terminal in Marathon Infinity refers to a
: "Security Chief Jones", so it's plausible that that might be the
: player's name.
