In Response To: Re: Eternal X Final Candidate 2 (Forrest of B.org) So what does that mean? That the original texture file is bad somehow, the archive got corrupted, the upload skipped a bit, or what? I started a download when I got this report this morning, and I just came home to find it successfully downloaded and extracted, as did you. I am assuming that something nebulous happened during the upload. To verify that, run a CRC (for example, at a console I ran unzip -t EternalXFinal2.zip) on the archive that you made prior to uploading. If it checks out okay then it is just a matter of uploading it again. If that archive gets the CRC error, then make a new archive and upload it in place of the old. The texture file itself is fine (as it is on your computer), and thing is, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the 'damaged' version on my computer, either. I can open it up in gimp, load up your Pfhor levels in Aleph One, etc. People who have already downloaded the archive shouldn't have to download it again. If they can get their unzip utility to do its work without doing a check first, everything should be fine. Put up a copy of that .dds file, named in my earlier post, for download on e.b.o and they can just overwrite the old file. I think that will put things to rights.
