If I recall correctly, there was actually an enforcer flame shot flyby sound built into the original 'thon sounds file, just never used in-game. Years ago I was doing a little shapes + physics that removed every standard weapon from the game, created dropable weapons for most of the Pfhor, forcing the player to rely on those. Never really got finished, really changed the character of the game. I remember holding two of those little drones was fun, I replaced the pistols with them. Left one I tuned to shoot a little faster and more scattered than the right, right one for more snipery kind of shots.
Heh, also managed to create a F'licta guts weapon, I think I had it set to be able to shoot shotgun-ish little F'licta squish goo stuff, or the whole thing could be thrown as a sort of grenade. Did something similar with the hunter weapon though, shooting as normal, or the thing could be placed as a mine.
Hm. I really should finish that up, if I can find the disk that has it all archived.
