It's been so long since I've last been to this site... and did someone say that Marathon is 16 years old?! MAN I must be getting old. I still use my lame fanboy "thoth43" yahoo account that's at least 100 years old. At least!
Anyways, I pretty much gave up on Bungie when they announced that they were bought by Microsoft. I never played Halo and never wanted to and I always laughed when people would talk about what a great story it has.
I believe, apart from Jason Jones(?) that everyone involved with Marathon is now gone from Bungie. I could be way off on that. Regardless, I think Marathon has sunk far enough into its grave that no one will try to dig it back up. I'm happy that this game, which I still will rave about to anyone that will listen, went out on top.
Anyways, that's my goofy opinion.
