Using MML to turn off logging might do it for now. We need to move where the log file is written in Mac OS X. Can you file a bug so I don't forget?

You mean, it fires even when you turn num lock off? If it's firing ceaselessly when num lock is on, until you turn it off, that's the correct behavior, it's like caps lock.
