Marathon In-tel-finity, or whatever the fruit

Its been a while since I've been here, almost too long. Long story short, It feels odd to be back.
I don't know if this question has been asked before or if this topic has ravaged flamewars, but I need to know:
Would it be fully 100% possible to play Marathon on the new Intel iMacs?
And if so, would it be able to play network games with a lower-end, G3 iMac (guess which one I am, heh, but not for long!)?
This would be much appreciated, thanks.
