: So don't worry about your lack of knowledge - finish all three
: games and then go back and do it the right way.
Thanks!
It really is amazing. I came back to Marathon (my initial experience with it is odd and probably not something you care about) after discovering Aleph One and recalling the fond memories of the computer games I played (mostly networked with my dad and brother).
I checked out the Story Page and started reading all the terminals in my spare time and was astounded by the story. As I poked through M? for the first time in years I was astounded at how fun the game was. By 'modern' standards it was such a simple game... but there is something about it that makes it so utterly addicting.
I'm currently taking a break with the games as I finish up Halo 2 on Legendary (partly due to a cross-country move) but after that I'm planning on running through M2 and M? again before I try to complete M1. But I still dig into the terminals courtesy of Hamish. I find so much in them every time...
Thanks again for the encouragement. :D
