I'm really sorry about that level. It's been greatly modified in Eternal X to not have so many obscure triggers and such. Guess that doesn't really help you right now, though...

It shouldn't be a problem with your version of Aleph One, there's just a lot of obscure switches and polygon triggers in that map. There's probably another trigger somewhere that opens the door behind which is the trigger you're looking at.
I'm at work right now, and don't have an unstuffed version of Mk V at home anyway... can you describe the latest area you've gotten to? Maybe I can help from there, though I'll likely confuse the old and new versions... maybe someone else who's played Mk V more recently can help better. I didn't make that map myself, so even I get lost sometimes.
