Right, this has been discussed here before about how this gun almost would have had to have been used solely by cyborgs (and maybe this is why there weren't any lying around on the Marathon, the cyborgs were supposed to be a big secret). Have you ever shot a pistol-grip shotgun one-handed before? That's hard enough to do without blowing your foot off let alone aiming quickly. Shooting a pistol-grip shotty with two barrels of 10- or 12-guage is likely to shatter your wrist with both barrels shooting at once, especially with the damn funky pistol-grip on the WSTE-M, which seriously makes the thing liik like one of those 17th century pistols.
Shooting TWO of the buggers would require superhuman strength and speed, which the Marine has, and I think we should just leave that as the explanation.
