: BTW - it is possible to get a life and still be involved in the community.
The problem with being a good mapper is that you have to really FOCUS on it. A good (solo)map takes around 3-5 days to create, and then I count like 4-6 hours per day. When you come home from School, work or whatever, you usually have about 8 hours of free time. Half of that needs to go to mapping if you're serious about it. In my opinion, the differance between playing and mapping, is the same as builing a tv and watching tv. Even if it takes the same time, one of the things requires more energy and dedication. -goran
